Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Streaming Engineer with strong experience in Apache Flink, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and production-grade observability. In this role, you will build and optimize real-time data pipelines, ensure data quality and reliability, and contribute to the evolution of our streaming platform. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to turn business needs into scalable, high-performance streaming solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and maintain real-time data pipelines using Apache Flink.
• Design scalable streaming architectures for high-throughput, low-latency workloads.
• Improve reliability, performance, and monitoring of streaming jobs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business needs into technical solutions.
• Optimize performance and ensure data quality across the streaming platform.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution and architecture of our streaming infrastructure.

What You'll Bring

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Flink, ideally using the Java or SQL API.
• Familiarity with concepts like watermarks, event time processing, savepoints, and checkpoints.
• Solid background in streaming systems, distributed computing, and data engineering.
• Good understanding of Kafka, stateful processing, exactly-once semantics, and fault tolerance.
• Practical problem-solving mindset and ownership in production environments.
